Men's Group

The Men's Group of First Christian Church is active in many ways. They meet for business and study on the fourth Sunday of each month at 8am. The men also prepare breakfast on that day, meeting at 6am to cook. One of the major fundraisers for the group is Apple Butter. Every fall, the Men gather early on a Saturday morning and spend a good portion of the day cooking fresh Apple Butter in three large kettles over open fires. It is one of the highlights of the year. The Apple Butter is sold at the annual Fall Festival and the proceeds are used to support missions and projects. The Men also volunteer to help prepare meals for other events throughout the year. ALL men from the church are welcome to share in this time of fellowship and growth!

Monday Night Bible Study

In Acts 2:42, the early church often met in homes to learn God's Word, pray and fellowship. Each Monday evening at 7pm, Bible Study is held at the home of Danny and Nancy deLatour (306 North Main, just south of Farm Fresh). All are welcome to come as we grow with one another and with God. For more information, contact the church office.

Other Bible Studies

In addition to the regular Monday Night Bible, we offer seasonal studies (Lenten Bible Study, Membership classes, etc.) Check back regularly for an update schedule of studies.

Sunday School

Nursery

Upon entering the North doors of FCC, you will discover our nursery. Every Sunday morning during Sunday School and Worship, we provide two volunteers to watch over the children. At least one of these volunteers is trained in CPR and First Aid. If you have any questions regarding the nursery, please contact Nancy deLatour.

K-4 Sunday School

FCC offers a very exciting K-4 (kindergarten through 4th grade) class led by Leslie Cox. Each week, Leslie leads the children through a discussion time using a variety of object lessons – coloring pages, stories, movies, crafts, etc.

5-8 Sunday School

Under the direction of Nancy deLatour, FCC offers an enriching program for all 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Located in a classroom off of the balcony, Nancy shares the message of God through Bible readings, games, crafts and various hands on activities.

High School

Paula Fuller is the leader of this gang. Each week Paula challenges the youth with insightful, thought provoking issues. The youth apply God's message found in the Bible to their everyday lives.

Young Adult Class

The Young Adult Class meets every Sunday Morning during Sunday School Hour. We come together to share what is happening in our lives today, to offer support and love to one another. It is not easy being a Young Adult in the world today. This class offers helpful and challenging Biblical based tool to assist in everyday living.
